3 05 2010

This is your chance to learn about two new regional leaders’ plans and priorities for protecting the waters, air and land of the State of Washington during these challenging economic times. Their discussion will cover water quality, climate change, toxic cleanups including Superfund sites, solid waste recycling, among other environmental issues. Ted Sturdevant was appointed director of the Department of Ecology by Governor Gregoire in November 2009. Dennis McLerran was appointed EPA Region X Administrator by President Obama in February, 2010.

Here’s the link to the meeting announcement. May 5, 2010, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at 925 4th Ave, Seattle.

Dr. Sterling,
This is so frustrating! Your link did not work and I can’t find any information about this meeting.
Is this a plot to keep us all “un-informed?”

Please donate…. “Save Lowman Beach Park” …. please donate to the legal fund…. which at this point will allow us to buy time to see and read about ALL the alternatives to fix this problem!
Donate at US Bank…. Account # 153-562-734-159…. Any amount will help. I donated $100 to get this started. Several others have donated. Please join your neighbors. We have about $450 so far. The initial legal fees are $1000 and if we must take further action they will be MUCH greater. Please donate…. help us!
Your neighbor since 1984….

Hi Linda: The link again is http://pugetsound.org/connect/events/050510wffe/

If that doesn’t work, search “People for Puget Sound Mclerran” at google and you will get the right page. Hope that helps.
